Welcome to our new Children’s Ministry Admin, Bethany Newcomb. Bethany comes from Seaside, Oregon to join our team. She will be in the Children’s Lobby each Sunday morning, so stop by and say hi to her.
PRESCHOOL GRADUATION & ELEMENTARY FALL PROGRAM KICK-OFF - Sunday, September 12, 10:00 AM: This is a very important day for children who are 2 1/2 to 5 years old. They get to go to a new room and we have a new class of kindergarteners. ALL PRESCHOOL CHILDREN START IN THEIR CURRENT CLASSROOM AND WILL BE PICKED UP IN THEIR NEW CLASSROOM BASED ON THEIR AGE AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2010. For more information, contact Sue Granlund, our Preschool Director. Grades 1-6 will begin regular fall programming.

ROUTE 56 KICK-OFF PICNIC – Sunday, September 19, 12:30-4:30 PM, Vasa Park: The fifth and sixth grade class will kick-off the new year with a picnic. Questions? Contact Jacquie at jacquier@westminster.org.
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT – Friday, October 15, 6:30-9:00 PM, Atrium: Free double feature! We’ll be showing Veggie Tale’s “Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler” and “Chicken Run.” Popcorn included. MAKE IT TAKE IT WORKSHOP – Saturday, December 11, 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, Gym: Children make Christmas gifts for the special people in their lives and take them home completely wrapped that same day. All gifts are under $5 each. More information to come!
