Did you know that you can make contributions to our benevolence fund? Check with your employer to see if they have matching funds. Westminster has established relationships with many of the large firms in our area.
The majority of our financial help goes to meet basic needs – food, shelter and health care, including counseling.
Yes, on a case by case basis we will help with a variety of needs.
Financial help is obviously limited. We strive to help people in a tough spot but we do not enable people with unhealthy fiscal behaviors. We have the right to decline help in any situation.
An application and a scheduled appointment with our benevolence counselor are required. If there are special circumstances, you may share that with the benevolence counselor at the time you meet. Email us to request an appointment. Download the Application for Financial Assistance
Do not wait until the last minute. Westminster is able to provide help usually within two weeks.
No, but priority is given to people attending the Chapel and to people within our local Eastside community.
No. We will send checks to vendors for you with a copy of the invoice provided to us, i.e. landlords, utility companies, hospitals, etc.
