Congregational Care Ministry
Our congregational care ministers help people in long-term care (rehab, assisted living, nursing care), people who are hospitalized or recovering at home, and people in life crisis. Our care ministers have been through extensive training and participate in quarterly continuing education classes. They are available for weekly visits. In addition, they can provide communion or anoint with oil. If you learn of someone in need of this ministry, contact David (davids@westminster.org) or Valerie (valerief@westminster.org).

Counseling
Westminster Chapel offers spiritual counseling, grief and loss counseling; limited marriage and family counseling; and assistance in referrals to professional Christian counselors. Contact David for more information.

Counseling interns are also available for individual and family counseling at Westminster Chapel this academic year (September 2011 through April 2012). To schedule an appointment or for more information, please contact David at 425-747-1461 ext. 115 or Valerie at ext. 136.

Food Banks
Westminster Chapel supports several local food banks. We sponsor food drives twice yearly with the proceeds going to the food banks with which we have a working relationship. Click here for a list of food banks we work with.

Marriage Prep
Are you looking at the possibility of marriage or at a place in your relationship to ask “Do I or Don’t I?”  Consider contacting us to take a “Prepare and Enrich” online assessment and then meet with a pastor to review the results. Contact Steve for more information.

Re-Marriage Prep
Next session TBD
Using the Prepare MC inventory as well as additional materials, the objective of Re-marriage prep is to break the cycle of re-divorce in couples that have been married previously and have children. Step-families are statistically almost twice as likely to uncouple as are first marriages. Limit of 6 couples per class. $125 per couple. Contact David for more information.

Memorial Services
We hope to make the memorial service for your loved one a meaningful memory. We will assist in organizing and overseeing the service and reception, allowing you the time to focus on your family and friends. It is our desire to make this difficult time less stressful for you by gently guiding you through the process. Contact Valerie at (425) 747-1461 ext. 136 with your questions or to initiate the planning.

Prayer
We have a number of different opportunities for prayer. Click here to go directly to the prayer web page.
