Do your children need your prayers? God knows your children intimately and He loves them even more than you do. Psalm 139:15 explains that He knew each child even before they were born. As you lift your children to Him, the Lord will work within their lives in an individual way. The Word of God also says in Galatians 6:9 that if we do not grow weary, we can expect a harvest. Then, in Psalm 5:3, God tells us to pray, and then wait “in expectation.??? So, as you pray, expect that God has heard your prayers and that He will move in His perfect way and in His timing to take care of your child.
Let’s pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you that You care about our children so deeply and You know each one so intimately. Thank You, dear Lord, that You are the good Shepherd who takes care of Your little ones with such tender compassion. We lift (name the child) to You today, asking You to move mightily in their life. We ask for Your protection for them from the evil one in every area of their life. Go before them to show them Your way, and help them to be able to stand against every temptation that comes across their path. Draw them into a close relationship with You, and accomplish Your will in this child’s life. Lord, thank You, too, for this loving parent who cares so deeply for their child. We ask that Your peace will surround them each day as they give their concerns totally over to You and then thank You for taking care of every need. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
