“She selects wool and works with eager hands…he opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy….She makes coverings for her bed.” Proverbs 31:13, 20, 22
Helping Hands is a Sewing and Quilting Ministry. Each Friday morning women meet in the warmth of fellowship to serve the Lord in the tradition of Dorcas (Acts 9:39). In this spirit of working with our “eager hands” we make quilts, dolls and doll clothes, and children’s clothing for the poor and needy—here in the Seattle Metro area and “to the outermost parts of the earth.” With each garment, quilt or dress go much love, prayers and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ…and the message of His love. We have a blessed time of sewing, sharing and prayer time, and a brown bag lunch (for those who wish to stay, bring your own lunch) as God knits us together in His service. If He calls you, come and join us!
If you have a heart for serving others.
If you have a heart for ministering to children.
