WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE DINNER EVENT: Thursday, February 9, 2012: Join us to hear Gloria Nelund, Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of TriLinc Global in Los Angeles, CA.   Gloria co-founded TriLinc in 2008, capitalizing on her 30 years in financial markets and her passion for social impact investing.   TriLinc’s mission is “to create scalable solutions to help reduce poverty and advance sustainability.”  Gloria will share her journey, which includes serving as the former CEO of the U.S.  Private Wealth Management Division at Deutsche Bank.  She was responsible for more than $50 billion in investment assets when she chose to leave to spend more time with her family.

Gloria has also volunteered as a teacher of at-risk youth in the Los Angeles Unified School District and the YMCA of Los Angeles. She currently sits on the board of multiple not-for-profit organizations and has been a guest speaker at conferences and universities across the nation, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Wheaton University. WOMEN’S RETREAT – March 9-11, Leavenworth, WA: All Westminster women and friends- from college-age to seniors- are invited to join us, March 9-11, for a weekend of relaxation and refreshment at the Enzian Inn, located in the beautiful Bavarian town of Leavenworth. We anticipate this being a time to refuel and connect with the Lord and other women, gaining the strength needed to meet the challenges of life.

We will be challenged by our speaker, Christie Rayburn, (www.christierayburn.com) to see ourselves as the Lord sees us, finding our worth and value in who He created each of us to be. But most importantly, we pray that this will be a time for every woman to experience the Lord’s delight in them, while learning to delight in Him.
