“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” (Col. 3:23).
Work is an integral part of God’s plan for us, and the Job Link section of this website is dedicated to employment. We have two areas with that focus. First, we are providing a place for people who are seeking employment to place a short resume, outlining the job they are seeking and a brief description of their background and experience relating to that job. Secondly, we are providing a section for employers to advertise the positions they have available in their organizations, with a short description of the job and what it entails (coming soon). Both sections are designed to aid our website visitors with job information that will help them find work that matches their skills, their abilities, and their passions.
We are suggesting that you do not include any additional personal information other than the three items at the top (name, email, phone). You need to make sure that there is a way for prospective employers to contact you, so list more than one telephone number if possible.
JOB TITLE - The short title of the job you are seeking. This is how your form will be indexed on the website, so the title must be short and concise.
POSITION I AM SEEKING - An expanded description of the job title above. It is similar to the Objective section of your resume, but it must be job specific. Avoid the “Looking for a good position with a progressive company . . . .” kind of description.
BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION - List those items, probably extracted from your resume, that illustrate your qualifications for the job you are seeking. Emphasize specifics whenever possible. Highlight the most positive aspects of your qualifications, and remember to be concise, as space is limited.
Once your information has been submitted, it will be edited and posted on this site. We reserve the right to edit those submission that may be too long, and may not accept any that are not appropriate for a job seeking site, such as solicitation requests.
