DEAR WESTMINSTER FAMILY –
PERSPECTIVE….(Definition) “a broad view of events or ideas in their true nature and relationships.”
“Perspective” is a good word to describe our services this Sunday. We are going to take some time to hear stories from you about God’s faithfulness over this past year. Our experiences with God’s presence and power will give us perspective as we move into 2019.
“Perspective” is also a word that fits my message this week. We have been in an Advent series focused on the 1st century participants in the Nativity. We have looked at the journeys of Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men, and even Jesus, Himself. On Sunday we will talk about the angels, who in their journeys from heaven, offered a unique perspective to the events happening on earth.
Also…I encourage you to prayerfully consider how you might help us address our year-end giving challenge. I have included ways that you can give at the end of this e-mail.
See you in church.
Pastor Gary
