DEAR WESTMINSTER FAMILY –
We are facing a crisis of leadership in our world. As one person put it…”At a time in history when we need men and women in leadership to stand tall, we find ourselves knee-deep in pygmies.” This “gap” in leadership begs to be filled by someone who is courageous enough to lead the way God wants.
One of my faith heroes was evangelist D.L. Moody. He used the leadership challenge as motivation for his ministry. He said it this way….”The world has yet to see what God can do with a person fully consecrated to Him…and by God’s grace I will be that person.”
Biblical history reminds us that there was a man who lived this way. His name was Caleb and part of his story is found in Joshua 14:6-15.
We will examine the specifics of Caleb’s life & leadership on Sunday.
See you in church,
Pastor Gary
