Dear Westminster Family –
I am back. Thank you again to all of you who contributed to our journey. I will share as much with you as is appropriate.
This Sunday we will be back into our summer series on I Peter entitled, “Living Whole in a Broken World.” My message this week is taken from I Peter 2:11-25 and will focus on “earning the right to be heard.” There are lots of people in our culture today seeking platforms to communicate their messages.
All of those voices want to be heard. Some are politely asking for the opportunity, some are begging for the opportunity, and some are actually demanding that they be heard. My question in the midst of all of this confusion is…”Do followers of Jesus have a voice in our world today….and…why should anyone listen?
Also this week, we will give you an update on VBS and talk about Jubilee Service Day and Sunday in the Park. It should be a great Sunday.
See you in church.
