FROM GOD’S HOUSE TO YOURS: No Vacancy
Series: FROM GOD’S HOUSE TO YOUR HOUSE
Sunday: “No Vacancy”
Luke 2:7…..”She (Mary) gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was NO ROOM for them in the inn.”
Consider this statement….”The world did not wait eagerly for the Christ child, on the contrary, the world was so busy with its affairs that it would not even make room for him to be born. He had to be born in a stable. Besides, no one would even have noticed the birth if God had not sent angels to announce to shepherds and sent a star to guide the eastern kings to Palestine…..Men and women express sentimental thoughts about the infant Jesus as they go about their own affairs and pleasures at Christmastime. But few pay any attention to the real Christ, and they do not make room for him in their lives.”
