Prayer Partner

Welcome Prayer Partners!

Welcome to our new year of mentoring!  I am Judy Piper, and it is my privilege to serve each of in your service role as Prayer Partner!

I have attended Westminster for over two decades. As a participant in a variety of ministries I have been prayed for by many and have prayed for many as well.  Whether this is your first year as a Prayer Partner or you have been involved in the mentoring ministry before, the coming months will be a time for you to bless and be blessed through your prayers for your Mentor and Mentoree.

This year we will be using the book S.H.A.P.E.: Finding & Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life by Erik Rees. This book explores five characteristics that make up our unique S.H.A.P.E:

Spiritual gifts – given to us by God

Heart – passions God gave us

Abilities – the set of talents God gave you when you were born

Personality – the special way God wired you to navigate life

Experiences – those parts of your past,  both positive or negative

Our mentoring leadership team will provide monthly Growth Plans based on this book.  Whether or not your Mentor and Mentoree uses this book in their time together you may find it valuable for your own personal growth.  Below is a link to a free spiritual gifts assessment that you can use to identify your spiritual gifts.

A song that caught my attention recently is called “Multiplied” by the group Need to Breathe.  One line of the lyrics says, “I have surrendered to Your design”.  According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary the word “design” can mean “to plan and make something for a specific use or purpose”.  It can also mean “to create plans that show how something is to be used or made”.   God has designed each of us uniquely for a specific use and designed the plan for us to achieve our purpose in each season of our lives.  Surrendering to His design enables us to be used for His glory.  As a Prayer Partner you are encouraged to explore and use your specific God-created design through your prayers for your Mentor and Mentoree.

If you have not yet heard from your Mentor or Mentoree please connect with him or her.  If you have any questions about being a Prayer Partner, I would be glad to answer them.  You may email me at .

Be sure to periodically check this page as we add more resources and a calendar specific to your area of ministry.

I pray that God will fully use your unique design in His work as you pray for your Mentors and Mentorees.
