In Early Life for the Fifth Sunday in Lent, we are learning about Jesus and his arrival into Jerusalem. Next Sunday is already Palm Sunday! As we celebrate Easter this year, please consider signing up to give away a few Easter Egg Hunt kits to your neighbors so they can learn all about Jesus, too! Click on the Early Life button for more information.
In Elementary Ministry, we are continuing our study about Jesus’ last days with his disciples. This week, we are looking at Jesus’ conversation with Thomas, one of his disciples. The other disciples had seen Jesus after he had risen from the dead, but Thomas was not there. So, despite his friends’ claims that the Lord was risen, Thomas doubted. As we study this story, explain to your children the meaning of the word faith: “the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen” (Heb. 11:1). Follow the Elementary Link below for more information about our lesson and activities to do with your children.
During the Sundays of Lent (February 21 – April 4), we will be looking at the seven I AM statements said by Jesus as recorded in the Book of John. We have put together a Family Devotional about the I AM statements. This devotional has Bible studies, games, crafts and coloring pages for families to learn together during the Lenten Season. We hope you will take a look! This week, we will learn about Jesus as the Resurrection and the Life!
