In Preschool, our story this week is from Luke 10:38-42 and is the story of Jesus visiting his friends Lazarus, Martha, and Mary. During their visit with Jesus, both Mary and Martha chose different ways to show Jesus that they cared.  We will be using the book, “The Best Thing to Do” by Steph Williams to help us “join with Mary and Martha as they discover that listening to Jesus is always the best thing to do!” As you share this story with your children, help them to remember that we can listen to Jesus no matter what we are doing. It just takes practice! Click on the Preschool Link below and learn with your kids!

In Elementary, we are continuing our study of the life of Paul. We will study about Paul for the rest of the summer. Our story this week can be found in Acts 13:1-3  and 14:8-28. We will see how Paul was called to go on his first missionary journey with Barnabas. During that journey, Paul and Barnabas faced many people who rejected the good news about Jesus. But God had a plan for Paul to share the gospel with Gentiles, no matter what troubles Paul faced. Many believed in Jesus. As you share this story with your children, remind them that if Paul had not taken the gospel to the Gentiles, many of us would probably not be believers today. God uses people to tell others about Jesus so that people all over the world can be saved from their sin by trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
