We are continuing our unit this week which reminds us that No One is like God. He is holy, good, and loving. Do you ever categorize sins? Are some major sins, while others are significant sins and others are little sins that may not seem wrong? There’s a big problem with this. While sins might have different consequences, the Bible teaches that all sins are serious because they are rebellion against a holy God. We are in Numbers 20 this week as we see that Moses disobeyed God by striking the rock to get water instead of speaking to it like God said to do. For that, God would not allow Moses to enter the promised land. We all have disobeyed God by sinning. But God gave us His Son, Jesus. As we go through Lent, let us remember that Jesus always obeyed God, even by dying on the cross. When we trust in Him, Jesus brings us into God’s kingdom forever. Use the Family Devotional to learn more as a family this week. No One is like God! He is holy, good, and loving.
The Family Devotional includes opportunities for families to read and memorize God’s Word, share a worship experience, do activities and more!
We also have a Lent Resource Sheet to help families understand more about Lent and to offer resources to celebrate together.
