This week, we are beginning a new unit learning about the time of the Judges in Children’s Ministry. We will see that the fair punishment for sin is death. But as our memory verse for this unit, Romans 6:23, reminds us, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Use the Family Devotional to learn more as a family this week. After God’s people sinned, the judges helped God’s people obey God again. But the judges could not change the people’s hearts and make them love God. God had a plan. He sent His Son, Jesus, to change His people’s hearts and save them from sin forever. Thank you, Jesus, for paying the wage for our sin!
