We are starting a new unit this week. The theme for this unit is that No One is like God. He is holy, good, and loving. This week, we are in Numbers 13-14 as we learn about the Israelites refusing to enter the Promised Land because there were some giants who lived there. The same God who had promised this land to them and to their ancestors before them was the same God who had revealed His infinite power in rescuing them from the Egyptians. He was the same God who was with them at that moment. Did they believe the people were too big, or did they believe God was too small? The Israelites did not trust God. They rebelled against Him. In contrast, Jesus trusted God perfectly. He came into the world to take the punishment we deserve for our own rebellion against God. When we trust in Jesus, God forgives our sin and invites us into His kingdom forever. Use the Family Devotional to learn more as a family this week. No One is like God! He is holy, good, and loving.

The Family Devotional includes opportunities for families to read and memorize God’s Word, share a worship experience, do activities and more!
