We are concluding our unit on some of Jesus’ miracles and how they show that He is God. The question for this unit is, “Is Jesus God or a human? As the Son of God, Jesus is both fully God and fully human.” Our memory verse for this unit is John 1:18 (NIV), “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.” Try memorizing the verse as a family. (Preschoolers will memorize the bolded portion.)

This week, we are looking at John 14 where Jesus explains that his miracles prove he is God. We will learn that “Jesus came to help us understand what God is like. God the Father sent His Son to rescue us from sin. He gives us the Holy Spirit to help us as we live for Him.” As we see the miracles of Jesus, we can “consider their true purpose. Jesus’ miracles give us a picture of who He is and the hope of life with Him in His kingdom.“
