Dear Westminster Family,
It’s hard to believe that Christmas is less than a week away! I hope your shopping is done and you are starting to enjoy time with family and are enjoying the traditions that help you connect with the meaning of this season. I have so appreciated our study of the “Songs of Christmas” this advent season. For many of us, these carols are tied to our fondest memories and Christmas celebrations. This Sunday we are reflecting on the carol, “Go Tell it on the Mountain.” Often sung with great excitement and energy, this song focuses on the need to share the story of Jesus “over the hills and everywhere.” We will be reminded of this truth as we gather, and will also spend time in reflection as we take communion together.
