This Sunday, Ryan will continue our Christmas series, Messy Christmas, as he looks at the Wise Men. Are you ever amazed that a group of men from the East would travel a long distance to check out a star? How the Wise Men came to be part of the Christmas story and their role in Jesus’ life is very intriguing to me. I am excited to hear Ryan share on Sunday.

In Children’s Ministry this Sunday, we will also explore the story of the Wise Men. Our families will have the opportunity to learn together at home as they use the Family Advent Kit to look at the story of the Wise Men and the topic of Hope. The Wise Men, and the star they sought (Numbers 24:17), are great examples of the Hope of promises fulfilled. God fulfilled his promise of a Savior by sending Jesus. One day Jesus will return and fulfill his promise to make all things new for all eternity. When the Wise Men met Jesus, their lives were changed. May we be changed when we meet Jesus, too! See you Sunday!
