Westminster,
Spring is one of my favorite times of year. The days are getting longer, the temperatures will hopefully start warming up, and baseball season is just around the corner. In addition, we are well into the season of Lent as we get closer and closer to Easter and the celebration of our risen Savior. This Sunday Ryan will be starting a new sermon series called, “Empty and Filled” that will look at the events recorded in the life of Jesus that took place in the days leading up to the first Easter morning. On Sunday he’ll look at what’s come to be known as Palm Sunday.
Another thing that happens this time of year is that we host the men from Congregations for the Homeless during the month of April as part of their rotating shelter. This is always a great opportunity for us to share the love of Jesus by providing tangible care and compassion. You can learn more or signup to provide a meal by clicking here. This is a great way to serve as a family, group of friends, or Grow Group. This year we are also excited to once again have the opportunity to serve the meal and eat with the men, something that we’ve been unable to do in recent years because of the pandemic.
Whether online or in person we hope you’ll join us on Sunday and don’t forget to set your clocks as we spring forward on Saturday night.
God bless,
Matt
