WESTMINSTER WEEKLY

Hey Westminster,

It was wonderful to celebrate moms and all women this past Sunday for Mother’s Day. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up a Mother’s Day gift in person, let us know here and we would love to send you a small gift in the mail.

I am beyond excited to gather for worship this Sunday as we celebrate baptisms together!

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (Romans 6:3-4)

Baptism is a monumental act of obedience as we follow Christ. The waters of baptism don’t save us, but they do reflect the new life that we experience as a result of trusting Christ’s death on the cross and knowing that our hope is secure because he rose on the third day. This weekend we are going to celebrate together as eight members of our church family are baptized! It’s going to be a rich time to worship and celebrate the work of God among us.

Praying for you,
Ryan
