Dear Westminster Family,
What a week we’ve had as a church! It started with four action-packed days of VBS where we saw kids come and learn about Jesus while singing, doing crafts, playing games, and digging into God’s Word.
We also had a wonderful weekend last week with Jubilee Service Day n caring for our schools and community and Worship in the Park on Sunday. It was great to see our Westminster Team use their gifts in leading this powerful gathering. Thanks for all the ways you as a congregation participated in these events by showing up, volunteering, praying, and offering encouragement. I’m confident God will continue to use all of these efforts in the days ahead.
On Sunday, we will gather together again for worship at 10am. Ryan will continue our study of Nehemiah with a look at how the people of Israel rediscovered their foundation in the Word of God. It’s also Labor Day Weekend so I hope you will find time to reflect on the work God has given you to do and be encouraged by these words, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).
