Dear Westminster Family,
I’m looking forward to being together on Sunday. We will continue our study of the life of Abraham and our series, “A Long Obedience in the Same Direction.” This week we will see that moments of faith and calling are often followed by seasons of trial and challenge as we look at God’s faithfulness even in a moment of failure in Abraham’s life (Genesis 12:10-20).
I also want to let you know about three things. First, this is the last week to complete our Congregational Survey. Thanks to all of you that have responded, your feedback is so important. If you haven’t had a chance to complete the survey we would love to hear from you.
Second, I want to let you know that our next Starting Point Lunch will be on Sunday October 8th at 11:30AM in the High School. This time is designed for those new to Westminster or anyone looking for ways to better engage. There will be opportunities to interact with our leadership community, hear more about the church, and learn about ways to connect. If you or someone you know is newer and haven’t been to a Starting Point, registration is at this link.
Finally, I’d like to invite you to be in prayer for our Elder’s Retreat this weekend as this important part of our leadership community spends time together praying, fellowshipping, dreaming and pursuing God will for our church.
